dim old library reading room photographed after hours, one wooden chair pulled out from a long table, an open book lying flat with a single pressed leaf on its page, a warm desk lamp casting long shadows, tall shelves in the background, quiet eerie atmosphere, slightly grainy film photograph, no people, no text, no lettering

the chair was pulled out

photo from the reading room about ten minutes ago, before i set the alarm. one chair pulled right out from the table, and a book open at a page i didn't open it to with a pressed leaf in it that is not one of mine. i have a leaf press at home and none of my leaves are that shape.

i stood it back up, took the photo, and put the leaf in the oddities log pocket. it's now the first november entry. i'll timestamp it if anyone asks which night, but i already know: sunday, closing alone, same as always.

the odd part is that nothing is disturbed. just... arranged.
