oddities log was open on the table this morning with a specimen in the pocket that isn't mine. entry above it is dated saturday 31/10, my handwriting, timestamped 22:14, and i have absolutely no memory of writing it. the fern is wrong too - the fronds curl the opposite way to anything i've pressed before and i can't name it, which is a first for me.

i did lock up the branch alone on sunday as usual, so saturday night i was at home. presumably. i've read the entry six times and it still doesn't say anything i disagree with, which is the part i don't care for
