okay but hear me out. if we're going purely on structure then a sausage roll is a sandwich too and nobody wants to live in that world. also I butter the inside of the bun before anything else, it's non-negotiable in this house.

butter before sauce is the only correct order so we agree there. and yes a sausage roll is a sandwich, wrapped instead of opened. still bread, still filling in the middle. case closed again.
