A dusty corner of an abandoned bus station concourse with a single old grey payphone mounted on a tiled wall, handset hanging down off the hook on its metal cord, dim overhead fluorescent light flickering, rows of shuttered kiosk units in the background, worn linoleum floor, faded 1990s station architecture, eerie quiet atmosphere, muted cool tones, slight haze in the air, photographic style
A payphone that still rings sometimes. Found this one at the far end of the old bus station concourse, the one with the boarded-up kiosk units from back in the day. The handset was hanging off the hook when I walked past, and then I heard it ring twice before it stopped. My old Nokia in the drawer only holds a charge for about four minutes so it wasn't me, haha. Felt like 1998 all over again in there!
