the boxes are back again

so you all remember when i let sam store some boxes in my hallway "just for a few weeks" and they stayed so long i had to shift them every bin day, well. she asked me again last night, same hallway, same sad eyes, and i already said yes before my brain caught up. marmalade of course was sitting on the spot where they'd go like he'd been expecting them. i'm a sucker and i don't know how to unsay yes now, do i just live with a cardboard fortress by my door again for months 😭
