File: close-up-photo-of.webp (43 KB, 512x512)
close-up photo of a cluttered wooden workbench with a small disassembled engine laid out in organized rows, cleaned metal parts, a carburetor, gaskets, a spark plug wrench and screwdrivers, a bright inspection lamp casting hard directional light from the left, packing tape and a marker nearby, warm garage lighting, shallow depth of field, realistic amateur photography
fixed it instead of buying again. carb was gummed up from sitting over winter, two hours on the bench and it's fine. photo is mid-strip, the inspection lamp earns its keep every time.

tell me i'm not the only one who'd rather pull it apart than hand over money for a new one. wife says i just like having the excuse to sit in the garage. she's not entirely wrong.

new spark plug, fresh oil, and the pull cord had gone brittle so that got swapped too. next job is the hedge trimmer before it does the same thing.
